Course Description:
The start and finish are located in Izola, at San Simon Beach. The route begins along the seaside, passing Lonka, the lighthouse, and Delamaris, then continues along the coast past the campsite. From there, the trail turns right and climbs toward Ruda, running between vineyards and olive groves on the first ascent. At the top, stunning views open up before a fast downhill section and a stretch along the road (keep to the left side). The route then turns left toward Baredi, following a beautiful forest trail to the top, where you are again rewarded with incredible views. The trail continues toward Šared (first refreshment station), followed by a short descent, a flat section, and the climb up to Korte.
In Korte, the route merges with the 17 km trail and continues through the forest to the village of Cetore. At the village entrance, turn sharply left and climb briefly to reach the main road. After crossing it, continue toward Malija and the Malija Stadium (premium aid station). From there, the route descends on asphalt, then turns right onto a steep forest path down toward Jagodje. Upon reaching the road, continue straight for about 300 meters, then turn left onto a new, steep climb toward Mala Seva (Malija). At the top, turn right and follow the gravel road, enjoying spectacular panoramic views.
The route then descends sharply right toward Strunjan, through the tunnel, then turns left along the sidewalk by the salt pans, crosses the bridge, and continues to the aid station. After that, it passes the tennis courts, climbs up to the cliff, and follows an unforgettable path through the protected area of Strunjan Landscape Park, offering breathtaking views and a must-stop photo point at Moon Bay. The course continues with a short climb to Belvedere, where you can still enjoy beautiful views, and finally descends to the finish line at San Simon Beach in Izola.
The course consists mostly of trail terrain (77% gravel and forest paths) and 23% asphalt.
